Finally home

Such an awesome car to travel in. Comfortably fit three of us and our luggage. Had it in Traffic aware cruise control the whole time, and just relaxed as it did most of the work...

I just left Moab and I saw a couple of Rivians, Lightnings, and even a Hummer EV charging there.

Didn't see even one non Tesla at any of the Super Chargers, I suspect people are still using their free Electrify America subscription

Dude, is that a crack in your windshield? Sorry if I missed it before. I didn't follow the posts lately.

Haha yeah, sadly it is. I'm waiting for it spread a little further before replacing it 😔. I have a $1000 deductible

I got a rock chip fixed on the Y and had a coating put on that claims to reduce chance of damage. I think that is utter nonsense but the rep insisted it works.

Modern glass is trash has to be on purpose.

I had two rock chips, I think they were caused by an Amazon delivery van that passed by my parked car. Unfortunately the crack spread quickly before I could get it fixed 😕

Modern automotive glass shouldn't be called glass it is very soft much more like plastic.

Looks like the layoffs also hit service....14 or 15 days wait time for an appointment. Used to be able to get same day. Now I have to drive a whole 8 miles... damn

No I'm in the Bay area, don't mix us up with SoCal where it takes 20 minutes to drive a mile 🤣

Service will let me know if mobile is available, but I doubt it for an airbag issue

I think that is the same fault I had a little while back but mine said it was the passenger airbag system or something like that. I think they just took out the passenger seat and replaced a sensor or something like that. It did take longer than I thought but didn’t seem like a big deal.

If it will take more than an hour, they will just give me a loaner, which they let you keep for 48 hours. Once the car is done, I can pick it up 24/7 and just leave the loaner
