I just looked up what they did and I was wrong, they replaced the pretensioner and front seat harness. No idea what that is exactly but the fault said passenger restraint system fault so not an airbag issue like I thought.

I believe the pretensioner is what locks the seatbelt during sudden braking. I think in my case it might be an airbag sensor, because the Airbag light is also lit up, but it could also be the same issue you had

Keep an eye on it, mine went away a few times over a couple months until it wouldn't go away.

Speaking of computers, I was in my car with my daughter and she noticed the sound system didn't sound right. I turned it up and it was like there was no bass and it wouldn't turn up loud, almost like listening on your phone using the speaker. Did a two button reset and all is back to normal. Just like what I do with my computer, if something is wrong reboot and hopefully the issue goes away.

In almost a year I've never had to reboot my Tesla's infotainment screen. My Polestar is about once a month at least. Just last week Google maps just kept spinning when loading, reboot fixed it.

I'll keep an eye on it

it’s not that often I have to reboot but when I do it’s for something dumb like the nav screen showing the location of the car off the road. The last time was because my wife called me from the car and I couldn’t hear her but she could hear me. Did a quick reboot (which you can do while driving) and all was fixed. I maybe have to reboot once or twice a quarter at most.

With my BMW I don’t even do software updates because I just don’t trust it like I do the Tesla.

Does your Plaid have the Intel Atom or the AMD Ryzen? Not sure if that makes a difference

Yes, I believe pre 2021 Model S and X used Intel Atom and pre 2022 Model 3 and Y

My brother in law just bought his second Tesla, a Model Y Long Range in the new Ultra Red. The bad news... freaking Elon cancelled the referral program, so I got no referral credits 😕

He should be taking delivery next week. I'll get some pics of it when it's delivered
