They do work as far as the auto bright feature is concerned. Haven't had any issues. This is a new feature, which I just got today. Don't know when I'll be driving at night next.... maybe tomorrow night

For some reason I thought the delay was on Tesla's end but it was regulatory in many parts of Europe adaptive headlights is already enabled. Not to be confused with auto high beams.

Auto brights have worked on ours since day 1. It's the adaptive feature I was referring to. We had them on our old CX-5 and they worked well and were very noticeable. I haven't seen a single person on the Tesla forums say that they're working after this update, in the US. They've been working in other countries for awhile, so it shouldn't be difficult to get functioning here.

You have 2024.14? I'm still behind seems like in my part of the world updates are always slow.

I meant to ask if you had 2024.20.x not 2024.14 or there abouts sorry about that. According to notateslaapp.com Canada does not have adaptive available yet.

Isn’t Europe ahead of the U.S. in terms of lighting? My BMW has matrix laser lights that are enabled in Europe but disabled in the U.S. because of regulations but it does have adaptive headlights like many of my cars have had for years.

Yes. I watched a vid on the Tesla adaptive headlights they are good but not quite as good as some of the best German cars.
Great technology but if the headlights go bad oh lordy they are insanely expensive. Not just on German makes Toyota/Lexus and others as well. Not sure about Tesla.

Europeans are ahead as they have been legal for awhile over there. They are legal here, but still not enabled on my Polestar as well

so what does tesla mean by 'adaptive headlights'? i generally think of that as headlights that can move, either up/down and/or left/right to see 'around corners' making them much more useful. neither of my current cars have that unfortunately. lexus didn't do it on the lc500 (probably due to the slim and already complex design, but they do have 'cornering lights' which are great.

Mine work pretty well. I love them.

'auto high beam', a feature on almost every car now, would be a more straightforward name. shocked tesla hasn't had that until now.
