anyway, 80 is not mentioned in details so i'm sure you're right. apparently you can't get around 30 min limit as you stated because they require a 60 minute gap between sessions.

Check your BlueLink app, you probably have limits set to 80 percent. There are two, one for level 2 and one for fast charging.

I guess EA closed the cheat code 😕

I don't know what to think of this. Elon did say Tesla will never make a prototype that doesn't go into production so Roadster 2 will happen. Hopefully before I die.

Unless it's under $80k, I'll never be able to afford it. BTW, my brother in law just placed an order for a Model X. The brother in law with the model 3. I'll be getting 10x points as he used a referral link I sent him

yes, as i wrote right above i thought i'd changed the dc charge limit to 90% in the bluelink app but maybe i didn't hit apply or something. anyway, i just checked it and it's set to 90% now so if/when i hit another EA charger, we'll see if it charges to 90.

what does "10x points" mean... are you saying 10x points vs some other kind of referral that only gets 1x points?

You should be getting 10,000 credits for his purchase, right? Acceleration Boost is only 9,500.

Tesla gives you points for referrals....500 if you refer someone for a test drive, 1000 if they buy a vehicle. Right now they are giving 10x until March 1st...so that would be 10,000 points. I can use those points to buy merch, accessories, supercharging etc. As Mike mentioned, the "Performance Boost" is $2500, or 9,500 credits

Looking at the credit to dollar value, it seems like a no-brainer...

And there I was getting all excited about free supercharging for 1000 credits🤣

100 more HP is definitely worth the 9,500 credits. I wonder if that actually increases the value of the vehicle. Not that it matters, I'm probably never going to sell it

I hate buying cars, truly hate it. I hold on to them for the long term unless they are not working for me. The longest I've held on to a car is 17 years (my 2006 Camry SE, 3.3L V6) and the shortest is a 2018 Civic Si which I sold 15 months later

Ok, ok.

But, but, but, what if the deals were good and there was a refresh you like better?

Hmmm inquiring minds need to know... Lolol
