It was used in the context of the grant Musk was seeking being more than 30x greater than its nearest comparable plan, which was itself Musk’s own 2012 grant, and a compensation consultant noting that the grant Musk was seeking in 2018 was 250x greater than the median peer 2017 CEO compensation.

If it passes this time, then its passed IMO. People have all the info and they have the benefit of hindsight. Passing it this time is all about fear though, fear of losing Musk which is unfounded IMO. Its the power of a Narcissist. Withholding his "love and attention" when things don't go his way.

Well, the pre market euphoria has settled down a bit. Regardless, there's no hate. I just don't buy in to what I consider to be a cult of personality around Musk, and I have a real problem with how Tesla's board and him are complicit, co-dependent and working for each other's benefit when they should be working for the benefit of shareholders and be independent of one another.

No, that was just an excuse the judge used. Nobody "knew" that.
She outright stated that the compensation amount was "an unfathomable sum". That shows lack of objectivity. Her mind was made up, no matter what. Just shows that she is a small thinker. We don't need people like that undermining the people that think big and actually achieve something.
