$46 with FSD is not too bad since your original price is $52k. My 2023 MYP with 4.5k miles was quoted for $44.5 for trade in now. $10k depreciation after 3 month.

Does your area have used Tesla inventory? My area has zero 3, S, Y in the used inventory. The only one used on the site in my area is a used 2023 Model X with 5k mileage.

If you think used Tesla's are taking a beating, you should see people trying to sell their Polestar's. My Polestar has taken a $15K to $20K spanking

Even if it was free, I would probably rarely use it. I'm too much of a control freak. I like to have full control. Even when I use Autopilot, I keep Autosteer turned off

Resale values may well have dropped, but in many cases the cost of the replacement vehicle is lower than it once was. The key thing, as always, is the net cost to make the change. You may well find your resale is (say) 20K less than it was until recently, but that pill is easier to swallow if the car you buy to replace it has similarly reduced in price. Obviously some owners have it worse than others, but diminishing resale doesn't necessarily mean your net cost to change has increased.

I agree on rarely using it. It would be more for those longer trips through boring areas of highway. I live in flat Illinois. It probably makes a lot more sense to just pay the monthly fee when I want to use it.

trash as in a lot of lowballers and values are tanking because of the price drop. imho right now the used tesla market is a complete buyer's market and people can get very good deal for a lot of cars

can be painful for existing owners but that's just part of the game. i got mine close to the peak, could be much cheaper now but it's just a car, drive it for a few years and move on

I had FSD on my 3P and have it on my wife's 3LR. I would stop at enhanced AP. FSD on the streets works okay, but I feel it's still too timid. Add to the fact that other people are horrible drivers and having to manage interventions takes more effort than just driving in the first place.

That's one of the reasons I prefer to just drive myself. I fully understand that AI reacts much faster than humans can, but people do some crazy stuff that AI may not be fully prepared for yet

It looks like Tesla has finally entered the 21st century in terms of implementing a 20 year old technology 😁. This is on the new generation Model 3 just released in Europe

To be fair, the tech already exists in the center screen in all the recent Tesla's (up till 2018 I think - all Tesla's that have the rear/side facing camera that's on the front fenders).
