I can tell you from personal experience driving the Model 3 LR and Performance, not a big deal, in fact I adjusted to it by the end of the drive. What would be a big deal is having the horn replaced by a button...although I've only used the horn maybe once or twice

I'm guessing that just driving a M3P makes you not care much about the missing stalks.

Thats the #1 reason I wouldn't consider a Tesla either.

I respect that reason and don't hold this against you, but nearly 500k buyers this quarter disagree with you

Model Y still has stalks

I'm sure I could get used to it, but my wife certainly has no desire to do so. Thankfully, non Tesla EV options are getting better every cycle

"To stalk or not to stalk.
That is the question". 🤓

There are also a lot of new Model 3's on the road. I don't know the breakdown, but I'm seeing almost as many as the Y's and truckloads of 3's heading out of Tesla Fremont. But if one doesn't want to go stalk-less, who am I to question that decision

In the Model 3 and Model Y and Cybertruck the one screen...the general austere nature of their interiors. If a Model S had stalks for the turn signals and for the shifter I would have seriously considered one.

As was said the Model Y, the best seller still has stalks. Those people bought the car but that doesn't mean they don't prefer stalks. The complaining about the lack of stalks is all over the place. IMO it just makes a car less safe and I have no interest in adapting to that.

Lets put it this way, the aftermarket has created aftermarket stalks...nobody has created a "stalk delete button" setup for cars with stalks. That shows you right there what people actually prefer. People without stalks will pay the aftermarket to get stalks, people with stalks don't want buttons.

As far as Model 3 sales are concerned, there is no lacking here

There are two more truck loads of the new Model 3's behind the white minivan (you can see one of the trucks virtually on the screen). That said, it's only natural the Model Y is outselling the Model 3....more people want crossovers and SUV's than Sedans. Ask Camry, which is way, way down the line in comparison to the RAV4

Not saying the Model 3 isn’t selling well, but a car carrier full of them doesn’t mean much. I see car carriers full of models all the time
