Nice grille looks premium then they obscure it. Why tho. That is legit carbon fiber? What's the deal breaker for you on the Lucid.

The BMW drives better. Better suspension setup, and no noises from the motors. Smoother acceleration. Their is a soothing sound that you hear when you accelerate thanks to Hans Zimmer

And yes, that's legit carbon fiber. Better be at $135K

Poor Lucid. Most people agree with you, their cars are not selling. Am I the only one that doesn't like carbon fiber? Even the bespoke stuff on the LFA I still think looks tacky. Maybe it's just me. I much prefer find wood (dark tones) or maybe real metal.

The sad thing about Lucid is that they built their car from the ground up, which should make it better. But it doesn't. My problems with the i7 are not dealbreakers. Yes there are compromises due to sharing an ICE platform, but I could live with those. Even the complicated overemphasis on tech is something I could live with. It drives really good, is super comfortable and extremely compliant handling, as well as smooth acceleration makes me forgive most complaints. BMW did a good job. Would I trade it for my Model Y? Nope

goodness that's an ugly car. and the interior is just tacky bling everywhere. and what was the 3-3 graphic on the center screen surrounded by tons of graphics?
and piano black plastic by the pallet load. ugh.

The reflection on the screen is the protective cover they have from the factory, when it peels off there is no reflection on the screen, it has a nice anti-glare coating.

The real seller for this car is the quality and the driving experience. It’s just the best driving car I have ever driven, period. The interior also just blows away anything else in the segment. The styling has grown on me a lot, I have a couple of specs that I would choose, a non M Sport in Oxide Grey or an M Sport in Carbon black without the shadow line trim package. It looks much better in person and video than in pictures IMO.

If you love a great riding quiet car like I do, it’s hard not to want this car.

There is no cohesion at all like 5 different design teams never talked. And less is more doesn't have to be Tesla minimalist but good lord there is so much going on. You Hyundai interior is so much better which is shameful given the price difference. I can't imagine being in this BMW daily but that's just me.

I would take the EQS over this hands down.

We’ll have to agree to disagree lol. Styling is in the eye of the beholder, but quality and comfort wise this car blows an EQS completely away.

How can you like that front end? Look at it! But as you say eye of the beholder.

I wouldn’t say I LIKE the front end, I would say overall as a package I have grown to like the car. Is it the most beautiful car I have ever seen? No…but a car is an overall package. The car is SO impressive in person and inside and to drive that the styling becomes less of an issue to me. An EQS by comparison doesn’t appeal to me on any level. I hate the looks, I hate the interior design and quality is very disappointing and the car is not especially impressive to drive. If you watch any reviews almost everybody says they would choose the i7 easily over the EQS.

This is the color and trim I would likely choose

I don’t think it’s a bad looking car at all.

I was time constrained, so couldn't give you that Kodak moment . It is definitely a busy designed car, but damn, it drives really good. It's fairly obvious there were teams that didn't seem to work together, and they chose complexity over simplicity. Not my cup of tea.

Too be fair though, it looks better in person. I apologize if my photography was amateur

We just have to accept the car is really designed for a Chinese buyer to whom the bling is desired.

Here’s a video of the non M Sport car I. Mineral white. I don’t think this is an ugly car…

Is a W223 prettier? Absolutely but they don’t make an EV W223.

It looks a lot better in person. Photography is not my profession

"looks better in person" is code for ugly. The beak on this car makes no sense at all.
