They have a new color for 2024, Space Silver which I like:

I couldn’t snap a pic but I saw an i7 today.

That is positively without a doubt what my EV would be were I in the market in that price range. It looks the same as the gas one. Smart move.

I'm not really a benz guy at all, but I think the current S Class looks better than the current 7 series, but the i7 looks better than the EQS.

I think if I was in the market for an EV sedan, I'd get the i5. I think the new 5 series styling is better than the 7, and I don't need the extra space anyway.

I'm warming up to the new gen 5 Series. In the right trim levels it's one of the best looking BMW's.

Honestly the only complaint I have about the G60/i5 isn't that it's ugly(I don't think it is, and it's certainly better than a lot of other BMW products right now), but that it kind of abandons the classic 5 series lines down the length of the car, as well as ruining the hoffmeister kink that they're famous for.

Range figures in the pic based on 55% city driving. Highway range is based on a speed of 48mph

My P2 is a 2022 Dual Motor and uses the same asynchronous motor in the front and rear, and currently at 90 percent SoC we get around 220 miles of range. Not great, but it's also mainly used as a commuter. At 479 hp and a 0 to 60 of around 3.7 seconds, it's the funnest of all my cars

More fun than the Y? How much faster is it and does it handle better?

The Model Y is 384 HP/375 ft-lbs torque, and does 0 to 60 in about 4.6 seconds, the Polestar has 476 HP/502 ft-lbs torque and does 0 to 60 in about 3.7 seconds. In a straight line 0 to 80, there are not a lot of cars below a C8 that can take me from a dig. The Model Y probably handles better than the Polestar as it (the Polestar) tends to understeer a bit, but in a straight line it's definitely funner than the Y. I can get my passengers to go into panic mode in the Polestar if I put my foot to the floor, not as much in the Y

The Y is definitely fun to drive, but the Polestar takes it to another level

When I was in San Diego last month our Uber driver had a Polestar, I was impressed the the interior and ergonomics. Looked nice inside.

It is a nice car to live with, just not very comfortable in the back seats if you are on a long drive. I also have the performance upgrade, which boosts the power and torque, that puts the car on another level. Depending on the health of Polestar as a company next year when my lease is up, I may just buy it out. If it's financially not in good standing than I may just buy a used Model 3P. The P2 is a good competitor to the Model 3, the only thing is they need to get their software in order...it's pretty horrible
