I had to mow often with the ego. Because as you know, if it encounters thick grass it will rev up which would use more battery. As I was returning it a guy asked me why I was returning and I told him I loved it but my yard is a little too big for 1 charge but it’s perfect for someone with a smaller yard or someone who doesn’t want to deal with gas. I recommended it to one of my friends who bought the trimmer/blower package.
Sounds to me like you had a lower end and an older one. Mine isn't the upper end one, but I have never had any issue with tall or thick grass. I also have the Ego trimmer and I can do all my edging, all my trimming, and blow off the driveway, stairs and the patios and deck on less than 3/4 charge of the 2.5mah battery that comes with it. You can use that battery for the lawnmower too, they all work in all the equipment.

My yard is .38 acre...so a little smaller but not much...

i sometimes leave gas in my pressure washer for a year and no issues. i think it's a toro.

On a different note, I've seen more iX recently. Not sure why but it doesn't look as bad as I first saw it.
it's not bad - a bit plain and funky snout but nowhere near as fugly as the xm.

That's because it's a really good car. Just too expensive, still has software issues they need to work through, and price. Although price is coming down, I'm on Lucid's mailing list and they've cut the Air's price more than $10k since I test drove it. I may take a relook at it if the price comes down further. Lease of course

Stopped by my Porsche dealer and every new 2024 Taycan has discounts on windshield of $20-30k lol

Probably can get another $10k easily.

The EV revolution is dead as of now.

You're saying that because a Porsche dealership in your area cut the price of an already expensive EV that most people can't afford is sign of the death of BEV's?

What if I told you that all the new cars I see on the road are Model 3's and Y's? and I see a ton of new Ioniq 5's, BMW ix and Rivians. Would that mean you are totally wrong? How scientific LoL

A friend of mine got a EQE AMG SUV recently and I was finally able to check it out last weekend. I know some people here said they didn’t like the interior and hyperscreen but I thought it looked awesome and futuristic. His is white with the white interior and I thought it looked great and was pretty comfortable. Being the AMG so it’s pretty fast too. He bought it at the end of last year and got $30k off. Great car for a great price IMO.

Well with your excellent track record of predicting recessions, stock market plunges and myriad other financial disasters, I think we all need to wake up and pay attention to this. Thanks for the helpful insight!

I have personally never seen any Porsche vehicles with windshield displays of $20-30k Off MSRP even before Covid. Porsche doesn’t operate like MB or BMW with massive discounts or special leases.

The whole dealership is filled with nothing but Taycans.

The 2025 Taycan will have substantial improvements in range and technology. It makes no sense to buy a 2024 anywhere near MSRP right now

I actually think the EQE looks better than the EQS, it has a more muscular look.

Allen beat me too it. You can't predict the entire market being down because a brand is discounting certain models or model years. Yesterday I ran into one of my friends who turned in his M5 Competition for a Model Y Performance...a 2022 used! That doesn't mean BMW is done for or nobody is buying M5's.

For sure the EV market has slowed down, but it's still growing YoY. It's predicted to double this year, in California EV sales have reached 25 percent, up from 2023
