My Y has a big screw in the rear tire, so today I'll be trying to get it fixed 😕
Watch out. I took one with a nail to Wheel Works in Los Gatos; they wouldn't patch it; $410 all in with warranty, etc. Contis are nice rubber but OUCH!

I filled the air and drove it to my mechanic who patched it for $30. He used a special patch for EV tires
I was parked waiting for a curbside order today when I found the Browser app in the EQS. It has a full web browser that plays video and everything. I tried out YouTube, Netflix, Discovery+ and of course ClubLexus, it all works That was a really nice find

Today I spent the whole day with our Ionq 5. My wife had it parked in the driveway blocking the other cars, so I just took it. I have to say I really love it. It has such a smooth drivetrain, shocks tuned for comfort, and excellent road noise isolation. It does a better job with both road noise and ride comfort than our Model Y. That's not to say the Y doesn't do a good job, just that the Ioniq 5 does it better.
As far as efficiency, it's extremely efficient. It has three modes, Eco, Normal and Sport. In Normal mode it averages about 3.5 miles per kWh, or roughly 29 kWh per 100 miles
As far as space, it has spacious front and rear seats and a fairly spacious trunk, but the Y has a much bigger trunk and sub trunk, as well as Frunk
As far as being a daily driver, I would say the Ioniq 5 is slightly better in this space. But as an overall family vehicle, the Y wins due to it's extra space and utility. I'm seriously considering switching up with my wife because she drives a lot more than I do, the Ioniq is limited to 10K miles a year while the Y isn't
you mentioned drive modes... does eco actually improve efficiency or just make it go slower?
Both! Electric motors are a very different animal vs. ICE, you can send them all manner of wave forms which has a great effect on power, efficiency, noise. It's not uncommon for EVs to get more efficient and powerful via software update. Of course at some point it isn't possible to increase efficiency it still takes X amount of energy to move down the road.
Hyundai probably does this as well, in a Tesla at times the motors will be run in a very inefficient manner to generate heat.

Exactly, that's part of the heat pump system. Hyundai now equips all AWD systems with a battery heater and heat pump. The principle is the same, in extreme cases the motors are run inefficiently to generate heat. I forget the term right off the top of my head
