A client of mine bought an ID.4 and hated it, so she sold it and bought another one a few months later.

Yep. Don't know what it was that made her hate the first one or why the second one was satisfactory but that's what she did.

I had a friend tell me he really put Toyota in their place when his 3rd gen Tacoma spent months in the shop for the fuel pump recall(replacement part was on backorder) and he won by getting them to sell him essentially the same truck for the same monthly payment. Never occurred to him that he just rewarded them for their bad behavior.

Thanks for sharing this. Model Y and 3 have lost quite a bit of market share. But still the kings!

thanks! so i guess the point is vw moves a lot of id.4's due to aggressive leasing offers. i just looked up id.4 offers and they have $229 for 36 months with 12k mi. per year (catch is $5k down) - not bad overall! vehicle itself isn't that special, but then i think most people get ev's as simple driving appliances.

I also noticed that they are no longer advertising the $7,500 rebate, at least at the dealer level. Even though they qualify for it. I did see it mentioned on VW's page, but not very prominently.

Also, not sure why they say it ends July 1st.

I think the 2025 model is supposed to be a refresh. Maybe the battery supplier changes from 24 to 25

To protect the brand? They sure have terrible PR.

Besides seeing the hundreds of Tesla's I see daily, today I saw a lot of non-Tesla's, more than the usual number. ID.4's, several Polestars, Ioniq 5's, and several Rivians. Also saw an iX from Tatooine or "Tatuine" because the original spelling was probably taken

Even saw a rare RZ
