0-60 in 3.1 seconds is still ridiculous fast.
For real, back in the day my friends mustang with a 5.0 v8 was 0-60 in approx 6 seconds and that was considered FAST.
I mean, not race car fast but fast for a production car with light mods.

Times have changed my friend. Cars have gotten ridiculously fast now. I had a GTI back in the day (86) that probably did 0 to 60 in 8 seconds, and I thought that was fast. To me if it can do it in 4 seconds, that's good enough. The US version of the new Model 3 Performance does it in about 2.9 seconds, which is getting in Insane territory. Unless you are on a dragstrip, completely unnecessary, which is why I'm glad you have select Ludicrous mode
The Panasonic cells everyone made fun of is still the best cell for performance.
I have to admit, seeing hundreds of small battery's that look like the package size of the ones wife uses for her vape made me face palm when I first saw an EV battery tear down.
I don't know if they're still made that way but it works.
And, they last and that's what surprises me most.

Yep, the same type of batteries that go in vapes. They pack them together in modules. The reason they last a long time is thermal management. EV'S have cooling systems, they are kept at optimal temperatures. Each individual battery is also monitored, one bad battery can cause thermal runaway
I think the Hummer is still bigger. And with about 1000 HP, it makes it truly a beast. I've been next to a Hummer and next to a Tundra, and the Hummers size makes me notice it more
Lol sorry, I saw this on the screen of my phone, and I wasn't wearing my reading glasses 🤣🤣. My eyesight has gotten pretty bad, can't see my phone screen without my glasses anymore
