‘All irrelevant to me who makes it. ,. It looks really good. Sharp styling . No idea if the interior is something I would like.

I like it overall, but I strongly advise you not to read this, because you won't be able to un-see it:

Had an issue with the home charger the last few days so I was a bit low today. Opted to top off at EA on the way home in case I need to replace the JuiceBox. It's a 150kW max unit but I've been holding really steady in the 130s the whole time. I had to unplug/replug once before it worked properly. 30 min to 80% but leaving around 60%

Helped an older guy charge his bolt as well

Spoke too soon. Keeps throttling back to 62kW then back up to 137 kW. Starting to think I should've popped over to the Supercharger across the street instead to try out the NACS adapter

Going to check my temps when I unplug but I don't fast charge often so I haven't used the adapter before. When I used the magic dock last year, it was steady. 140s followed by a gentle ramp down as I got to higher state of charge

Edit: Just unplugged. Battery temp at 98F so that wasn't an issue

ok, well as you know, my ea experience has been solid... typical scenario, plug in, it jumps to 150-200kw until 80% then down to maybe 70s to 90% if i wait that long.

Yeah it's just an older unit. 150kW max but all the stalls did have at least 1 working cable. Outside temps were moderate too - high 70s.

That said, the charge was free for some reason and I'm okay with that

Ok, I have lots of EA charging experience, and usually when it's free (to everyone), communications/payment systems are down and they allow you to charge for free. Happened several times on previous trips. Usually I know this is the case when I can't start the charging session in the app and the charger displays in the app "unavailable" but the session will start anyway

Thanks for sharing! Everything seemed like it was working as usual, did the credit card tap and it accepted my card. But I'm not going to complain about free charging

I figured it was going to true up the costs when the dollar amount didn't go up while charging

Another explanation if you payment seemed to go through...they just were giving free charging sessions
