no thanks. i don't like divisive "us" vs "them" and i will continue to enjoy my ice car too.

BTW, tires will get quieter over the next few weeks as they break in
thanks. i believe yours has 19s vs the 20s on mine, so may be a bit different experience, but i hope you're right. i've never experienced tires "breaking in".

I drove the Pacifica last night after not having driven it for a week, yeah the tires gotta go. Your Michelins I would have more hope for. My neighbor has the same wheels you do I will ask her if her tires are loud. Michelins aren’t the quietest tires in the world nowadays actually.

thanks. the car is VERY quiet though, so it's a first world problem.

normal tire noise is minimal, the tires just seem hard so small bumps are felt and a bit noisy. we'll see.

Congratulations on a great choice!! I also love all the "Pixel" details , the matte paint , the "different" exterior design etc.

Great to know it has the "most" important detail any EV should have - "1 pedal driving" 😁. Not being sarcastic at all.

The only nit pick I have with most Hyundai's is the totally unnecessary, very busy looking wheel design. 😁

I really have to watch what I say to you, you always take me literally . I'm guessing you haven't picked up on my sense of humor.

Yeah, we have the 19" on both the Y and Ioniq. Forgot about that

i just really don't like cliques or virtue signaling of belonging to an 'us' vs a them, so i guess it's a hot button for me. this country is divided enough.

No I get it. We don't really have a secret handshake, BTW . We are still them, that has never changed which is why I spend more time on CL than the Polestar or Tesla forums. Actually I spend 0 time on Tesla forums

I do, Bit still has his LC AFAIK. I rarely drive the Lexus and don't really car about it TBH but because it is showroom condition I'm keeping it around.

I own 5 Toyota's currently.

When Lexus offers me something I want, I'll get another one. I still have a Toyota (2013 Sienna), does that count? No plans to get rid of it.

@bitkahuna still has his LC500

Is everyone keeping their ⛽️🚗 around just in case?

my friend with MYLR also has a ⛽️🚗 but he claims he hates it and they never drive it but doesn’t want to get rid of it. Why? I have no clue. He and his wife share the MY because they refuse to drive their ⛽️🚗.

No, I'm only keeping the Minivan because 1) it's paid off and 2) there are no EV equivalents at this point. I'm comfortable going fully BEV
