By all means, buy quality components for your home charging setup. If I could change one thing, it would be to use a Hubbell NEMA 14-50 instead of the Leviton.
Beyond that, if you are a long term EV owner, hard wire a level 2 service.

Pay once cry once, as they say. It is part of the EV purchase. A key part.

not that a big a deal to switch it out. the hard part (wiring panel to plug) was already done.

hopefully my new wired in charger will serve well.

while not a trivial amount of up front money, in the overall picture it's a small cost given the price of cars, and as amirza points out, the savings on gas.

A Hubbell receptacle is $100 or more; at this point it was an easy decision to hard wire the Wall Charger. Gets installed in a week or so...
I am a long term Tesla owner due to the Model 3 experience over the past 5 years.

Or get the Bryant 9450FR receptacle, which is 98% identical to the Hubbell, but for half the price. The 2% difference been the slightly nicer finish on the mounting plate, but who cares it's going behind a cover anyways.

I just looked at 3 months of energy usage, which averages to about 600 kWh per month. Dividing that up by 4 EV's, at 0.18 cents a kWh comes to about $27 a month per EV in electricity usage. Hopefully this is helpful for those who are interested in what it costs to power our vehicles

so that 600kwh is your total usage, right? so including cooking, heating/cooling, washing, and the ev charging?
if so, then the cars don't consume all that 600kwh.
doesn't your solar contribute to a lot of that too?

This is what I used 'over' what I generated from Solar, which was 727 kWh over 30 days. Because of shorter days (less sun hours), hot weather (AC usage) and now charging 4 cars, my usage has almost doubled from last year

I don't recommend hiring this guy to wire your home charger

I'm presuming that's per month?

Every 33.7 kWh you used, you saved 1 gallon of gas

AMIRZA, do you know of a way with the ioniq to see any consumption/charging history for the ioniq 5?

I don't think the Ioniq 5 keeps charging history. Once you have your home charger installed, you should be able to look up charging history. Here's what it looks like from my Electrify Home charger:
