I get it. You’re done with gas cars. If I felt that strong about not owning another one, I would sell all remaining gas vehicles I own and go full BEV. Some BEVs are fun vehicles. The M3P I rented was fun to drive.

FK8 are fun cars on the track and I heard from a 40 roll on the highway 😎

This is a 75 MPH cruise

Again the road noise in my sister’s NX 350 is much quieter than my R4P. Lexus vs Toyota quality. Like you said it has it’s not all on engine noise. I have to get back out again today. I was going to drive the R4P but I may drive something else. Will report my findings

Right....and thats my point about the Prius. Its not a high end car on any level and it shows, where these EVs we are talking about are higher end cars and feel much more premium...hence why its not a valid comparison.

Ok I lied. I love the 10th gen Type R despite having a 2.0L. I've driven my friends a few times, damn thing pulls all the way to 7k. A few times I thought I was in third, but I was actually in 4th. The most balanced fwd that exists.

Almost bought one in 2018, but there was a long wait, and they were asking $40k. Looking back, that was probably a bargain

Im in the Prius now and the app doesn’t even look the same. It looks like yours instead of how it looked when I posted about the R4P and it won’t read higher than 37.7

3rd gear is the sweet spot, where it begins to shine. Mine hasn’t been stock since 600 miles on the odometer.

I paid $38k plus TTL for mine back in ‘21. I tried to wait on the 11th gen but they skipped 2022 year.

My neighbors is fully stock, although he did have an Invidia exhaust that was totally annoying. He got a ticket for it being too loud, now he's back to the stock exhaust which I like. I'm trying to talk him into a Two Step performance Stage 1 Tune

You’re on to something. 71.2 in the Prius. Curious to see what the V8s are.

Didn’t have to pay for the app.

I would lovvvvvve to test the LX570.... Sometimes I swear it's even quieter than the LS430. It does NOT get markedly louder above 80, even triple digit speeds it's still tomb-like. No mirror wind noise. We were easily whispering a conversation front to back seat going 85 to test it.

At least 90% of what people hear when cars go by are the tires, idk if we're still debating that or not.

It definitely has more wind noise at 80 than your LS430, that’s just physics. We’re talking a .26 cD and a .4 cD…

It is likely more isolated from road noise though, that’s not the LS’s strong point and in the LX you have the frame there which helps with that

Oh I disagree, it's a total cruise mobile.
