Awesome car !!😁

I had an initial distaste for the artificial engine sounds but when I heard the Porsche implementation in the Taycan - a futuristic electric motor whine, i was instantly in love with that. It's basically an enhanced version of what an EV motor sounds like, not some silly V8 sound track.

On this Hyundai they have a sound called Supersonic which I think sounds awesome. All the other fake ICE sounds are just that - very fake sounding and don't really have a place in an EV IMO.

I agree, I did like the Supersonic sound....or at least it would be fun to use it until the novelty wears off . But simulating an EV hitting a fake rev limiter....not so much

No, I actually love this car. I just don't care for the fake ICE simulations, which thankfully can be turned off

Not only does my EV have an excellent fart sound generator, it does it entirely without the need for any software or speakers.

The range is way too low. In many real life conditions you'll get less than 200 miles.

I doubt that's really a concern for potential owners of this vehicle.

I would get the Ioniq N 100 percent if I could get it at the right price as a commuter/weekend car, ICE tricks all turned off 🤣. The Polestar I'm driving right now gets about 220 miles on a 90 percent charge, not even remotely a concern or issue as I drive about 20 miles a day and usually plug it in when it hits 40 percent

Going by your numerous posts on EV range it's a very good thing you don't own one your range anxiety would drive you nuts.

The range is because of the stock track tires. In "real life" conditions you would swap out for street tires and get the same range as any standard Ioniq 5.

In "real life", someone who would even consider doing this would just save themselves $20k and buy a regular Ioniq 5 in the first place. No point in paying a ton of extra money for a performance car and then hobbling it with crappy efficiency-focused tires.

220 mile range would not bother me one iota. My M3 averages 265 miles per fill, and that's WAY more than enough. I'm not alone:

My 3P with fatter aftermarket wheels average ~300-330 wh/mi and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite the range hit.

Just requested a quote, there are only two of them available in NorCal:

These are before dealership markups . I should have an actual quote soon. I'm trying to get a test drive from my local dealership when they get one in inventory
