C'mon man, you have to admit those red calipers pop.

At least hoping everyone likes it so I'm not the only one. Lol.

He's referring to the seats.

^^ This ^^ I'm still getting the Stealth Grey, but black interior instead of white. It will still have the red interior lighting and red calipers

Even with refresh - still looks terrible especially the front.
Not having gauge cluster is ultimate cost cutting by Tesla 👎

I don’t think i have ever seen the performance model in the wild, everyone just gets the base car. Its like the beige Camry from the 90s.

i agree the model 3 and Y are 'appliances' but WAY better looking than ANYTHING toyota/lexus' mainstream offerings.

and you don't see them because model 3's dust your beloved bmw's...

Whatever, it will eat the lunch of an M3....priced at a beautiful $54k

Jason Camisa: "It makes the M3 irrelevant"

BTW, love the way the car looks!

On a another note, I've driven the M4 Performance, the M3 Competition, and the M3, and as far as gasoline vehicles, they are among some of the best cars I've driven. If I ever went back to ICE, I would probably have an M3 Competition or M3 as my daily, even with the crazy cost of gas here. But if you give me a choice between the Model 3 Performance and any of the other cars I mentioned....Model 3 Performance hands down. I don't care if people call it ugly, I don't care if people say it's an appliance, I don't care if people say it's a result of cost cutting. I don't care, that's how good it is

I have driven the model 3 and Y performance - they are good driving cars.
There is absolutely zero desire for me to change my M3 for one though. Just very different driving experience. M3 shifts through gears, makes noise, has a rev range, turbos etc.

The F80 M3 like i have is not great car to have if you want to launch from a stop or race from a red light. It is great on a roll though once you can put the power down. The new G80 M3 with AWD are more similar to Model 3.

Different strokes, for different folks . I've also come to love BMW's after driving a few that my friends own, but I'm pretty much over feeling gear shifts and every imperfection in the road. Tesla's offer the exact driving experience I want...quiet, smooth, and power when I need it...quiet power. I want numb . And every now and then when I want to put my foot down or do a quick launch or light to light race, I have that option. It's not about speed or beating another car (although sometimes I love to see the look on drivers faces), I know a guy who has an early 80's cheap modded Civic that makes 500 hp and can beat anything on the road, but it drives like s h i t for normal driving

.
There are significant differences/improvements between the previous generation Model 3 performance and the latest.

I'm assuming you've driven the previous generations as the Model Y Performance for the latest generation doesn't exist yet.

Correct I have not driven the updated one.

Good to see Tesla making improvements but they still have far to go.

I think they should focus more on luxury than performance.
Every EV is fast and most ppl could car less if 0-60 is 3sec or 5sec.

Their products overall are stale and this refreshed Model 3 offering is not visually exciting especially in the Performance trim.
