Rivian's use mapbox too. Their directions are decent, but live traffic is not as accurate as Waze/Google maps/Apple maps. I tend to run waze concurrently on my phone for the police alerts. I pay for premium data on the Tesla (and will pay for Connect+ on the Rivian eventually) and enjoy having the satellite view that it offers.

I got mine for like $20k off which takes the edge off my biggest concern is how many of the Bosch motors they have stocked up if anything goes wrong

Edit: no cicadas in this brood for us. I'm sure we'll be due in the next one. My first summer in NJ was a big cicada season and that was just about 11 years ago

That’s all I can think of right now.”

Also both Model 3s I rented had this separation on the seat. I kept the pic to inform the owner. One was a ‘22 Model 3 with 1800 miles

that seat cover issue happened on my MYP. Was fixed in 2 minutes by mobile service. Apparently they were using a screw that was too short to hold the plastic seat cover fully in place. I believe it impacted 2021 and 2022 Y's and 3's.

Adding photos from mobile is a pain as the buttons move around. I didn't notice how bad the formatting was on the above post until this morning

Another Gen 2 oof for Gen 1 owners. Anyone who had the default 21in wheels are going to be very limited in tire choices moving forward. Gen 2 only has 20 and 22 inch options and the Pirellis that come stock on the 21s are expensive and wear poorly. Michelin was supposed to release a 21 inch option, but that's still vaporware.

Glad I opted into the 20s with the all-terrain package

Three quick shots.

Interior organizer (ignore the dust )

Aftermarket wireless charger. It's got magsafe pucks underneath to hold the phones in place. Works really well

Bad shot in a busy parking lot, but there was an R1T in the background so I had to take it This is in the low suspension setting because the structure isn't particularly tall.

Companies can't get everything right on their own! I looked at the new wireless chargers that Rivian is launching with the Gen 2 and I don't think it addresses the issue of the phones sliding. Middle divider is nice, but phones slipping on acceleration/braking hasn't been resolved

The only thing I don't like about it is the coin slot. I'd prefer to combine it with the one to the left and have another larger block. I keep my meter coins out of sight

The chargers are okay. Took a few tries for it to initialize, but free charging is free charging!
