Makes lots of jokes
Talks a lot about the Rivians comfortable suspension and efficiency (averages 2.7 miles per kW)
Makes more jokes
Uses several Tesla chargers and a GM charger with good results
Wants to move to another state that's not California
Can't believe how big Buc-ee's is
That about sums it up

I've seen a ton of Rivians the last two days on my trip to Santa Barbara. They seem to be very popular here

I wish I could set cabin overheat in the Rivian to 100 like in the Tesla. I believe they have something that kicks in if the screen gets to a certain temp, but not the cabin temp. The AC is already a weak spot on the car and preconditioning from 130 down to 68 takes an extra 2-4 minutes longer than going 100 to 68

Q2 Results
- EPS: loss of $1.13 per share vs expected $1.21
- Revenue: $1.16B vs 1.14B expected
- Net losses: up to $1.46B from $1.2B in 2Q23
- This one isn't entirely unexpected since they had the shutdown and retooling of the Normal plant
- 2024 guidance of 57,000 total units produced, $2.7B loss in adjusted EBITDA, and $1.2B in CapEx. Maintaining gross profit expectation in Q4
- 9,612 vehicles product (down due to April retooling)
- 13,790 vehicles delivered
- $32,705 loss per vehicle vs. $38,784 in Q1 (up from $30,500 loss in 3Q23)
- Most sales were Gen 1 models so they do not include the ~20% cost reduction in the Gen 2s
