And driving faster is more convenient in an ICE vehicle too. Bump the speed up to 75 or 80 in an EV and see what happens. Absolutely tanks your range. Less of an issue for ICE cars because they have the extra range to handle any loss of efficiency. And it only takes 5 minutes to get all that range back.
If you don’t want an EV, then it doesn’t matter.

Well if you're not making any stops, than yes, I concede to that. I still wouldn't want to go on a trip in Prius 
My worst trip was in a Mustang GT with a 6 speed transmission I rented on Turo, my son who was 12 at the time wanted me to get a mustang. When I got into SoCal I hit traffic, and for the next two and a half hours I was going from first gear to second. I got into third only a couple of times. My legs were killing me. Than a friend told me I should have just stayed in second gear, as it has so much power I didn't need first while in traffic. I'm so over manuals, even the nostalgia of them doesn't tempt me

I know what you mean. After 1 track day I was driving back home in my truck and got a cramp in my leg from all the clutching on track.

Buddy of mine had a Model S. He had the battery replaced 2x in which he had to ship it to Florida I believe on his dime. He’s sworn off EVs. I told him I’m renting a Tesla in Vegas, he said he’s going to rent his own car. 🤣

I don't care if 99% of people are going back to stinky smelly slow *** gas cars my next car will be another EV. But sure let's hear all about how amazing gas vehicles are in EV Chat that's why I come here.

Are there any EV only households here? It doesn’t matter your 28yr old Tercel is paid off. Anyone all in on EV only? Not asking what’s your next purchase. Asking what you currently have.
