The Lucid crushes the LS in driving enjoyment.
The LS500h was totally not enjoyable to drive, and the 26 mpg is not even worth the gas savings, I mean I get that mpg on my Sienna. I would hundred percent buy the LS500 over the hybrid version

Got yeah. thx.

Ofcourse you're constantly plugging it in - it's a Leaf - 80 km or less range?

I had the 600hL but it had a V8 and I loved that car and powertrain. It was so smooth. Never drove a 500h so not sure how it compares.

Ls500 is a great car, but alot of us never liked it...lack of v8 kills the smooth driving you get from and ls460 or S class. I test drove it few times just wished they would have used the same engine in the LC in the LS.

It's not that the LS500h wasn't smooth, it was, but the TT's in the non hybrid LS500 feels so much better, and that car pulled more naturally. Like @LeX2K the 500h had a rubber band feel to it, which makes it feel unnatural. A V8 Hybrid is a different beast, but honestly, I would rather drive either a TT or NA V6, V8 or EV over a hybrid

BTW, I booked a test drive for a dual-motor PoleStar 2 on December 8th. They will be bringing it to me at my work

I'm still trying to book a test drive with Lucid, so far no luck

Pretty sure Lucid has no cars in the wild except for what was delivered to insiders, employees and the like.

Yep, haven't seen one yet on the road, I did see one up close at a mall in San Jose. I've seen some PoleStar's on the road though

That ain't happening at home (and no, there's no level 3 for home unless you have a power station next door).
And it ain't happening at most charging stations either as they can't deliver that much power.

Where do you get $69K? Website says starting at $77,400.

The plugging in argument again lol. I plug in my iPhone, I plug in my iPad, I plug in my laptop. Plugging in the car is a non issue.

500h is completely different than 600hL

I accidentally made a mistake on the price, it does start at $77,400 before the rebate.

I was specifically talking about level 3 fast charging, and if you go further down the thread I mention that you have to go to a level 3 charging station. For me this will not be an issue because I drive less than 20 miles a day, so home charging will work fine, plus if needed, there are fast chargers within 5 minutes from my home and office. On those occasions when I travel far, like going to SoCal, I don't mind making a 30 minute stop to charge, I do that anyway with my gasoline cars.

I will be adding level 2 chargers at home in the next few months, and will probably add another solar array to offset my added electricity use

why do you think they will stay that way? They can't scale to mass production? It's a lousy car?
