Have to lock down a cheaper rate before the claims data builds up

I saw this posted! One guy was rear ended and the damage was very light and the repair was $40,000

My first drive is Thursday! Got R1 Shop access and there have been a handful of S's. Almost all have the 21" road wheel (which we're looking for the 20" AT if possible) and I've only seen on Ocean Coast interior in there.

Was almost swayed to take a Launch Green Edition, but missed it when I went to pick up the girls from school.

Nice! I’ve currently got FG/FE configured and got stuck with the 21s to stay under $80k. I did the purchase agreement but I want to see other folks not get audited before going that route

2023 model has been updated and is now Good for the original moderate front overlap and both 2022 and 2023 are IIHS Top Safety Pick+ so I think they’re doing okay. Updated front overlap is just moderate but no one seems to be doing good at it. Highlander went from Good to Moderate and Palisade went from Good to Poor

Congrats! You may get your Rivian before I get my Y

Haha we'll have to see what my guide says. There is a chance that it hasn't rolled off the line yet, but I'm going to try to do a delivery @ the plant in Normal to get a plant tour and get to know the truck on the 13 hour drive back home.

yes updated moderate test includes rear passengers. Lots of manufacturers are getting caught out by not even having basics like pretensioners for the seat belts.

Nice!! Did my first drive today. It was good. I still don't think it's quite a $100K car (today's prices) but at our reservation pricing $80K + available fed credit still of $7,500 will definitely be worth it. There were a handful of R1S's in the R1 Shop today as well, and was able to snag one that closely mirrored our original Rivian Blue/Ocean Coast build with ATs! Think the shop one had an added spare and the underbody protection.

Almost went to go for a Forest Green Launch Edition, but so many greens out there, and the blue definitely pops and makes me grin like a kid.
