Quick-ish overview from MKBHD. He's a huge Tesla fan, but loves what he has seen so far from the R1T. He was also high on the F150 Lightning. Build quality looks solid in all the press car videos I've seen

 

A Rivian pickup was spotted driving around in an affluent northern Chicago suburb recently. Apparently it attracted quite a bit of attention/interest when it stopped in a local park.

 

Rivian has a lot of cool features, lots of well thought of details and a really good price.

 

From what I've been reading Rivian is scheduled to price IPO on Tuesday 9, 2021, and trade the next day

 

Apparently they have orders for 50k but could only fill all that by end of 2023... that's pathetic.

 

Rivian stock now available. Bought a few, waiting for the drop to buy more.

 

This echoes my thoughts for the most part. Incredibly high volume so far.

Bought some more LCID too, with today's dip.

 

Yup I know the person at the SEC that worked on that offering.

 

Lucid up around 10% today, Rivian up 23%. Let's see how these two move forward from here.

 

i'd signed up for sofi to get in on the ipo price of shares, but it has taken so long to transfer money into my account there that i couldn't get the ipo shares after all that.
having said that, i think the rivn and lcid share prices are lunacy, but good for those makin' moneyz.

 

he starts by telling you how much he's worth to gain 'credibility'.

i counter with this:

 

watching edmunds review, i realize just how small this truck is. even with tailgate down you can't fit a 4x8 in the bed. rear seat not that roomy. looks very nicely made though.
