You can get a very basic "brick" tractor for mid-high $100k, but the Tesla isn't exactly basic. So I went with a nicer model that is aerodynamic with a sleeper.

250k is pretty good price compared to diesel engine Semi and cheaper to operate/maintenance on top of it.

you mean EV or ice, or both?

for ice, semi engines and components have to be very sturdy to handle the use, strain and abuse. costs a lot to make it that way. plus of course the cab has to be very comfortable and functional.

Average lifetime (at least for legacy Diesels) of 750,000 miles, doing a very difficult job. Yeah that costs some serious coin.

New-Vehicle Inventory Rises to Highest Level in Two Years

Latest info I could find is Tesla is sitting on about 17 days of inventory.

Yeah they’re not cheap. Some of these you can sleep and take showers too. Is it possible with the tesla?
