I wouldn't be surprised if the Y had more recalls than that now that OTA updates to fix things are considered recalls.

Juniper probably won't come out until next year. If it comes out sooner, I can always cancel. The wait anyway is probably going to be awhile, probably July (even though they say April-June)

Oh dang...ok. if you want it earlier, I help run a Tesla inventory page (the admins invited me to help after I bought so many Tesla's lol).

Oh thanks, much appreciated! I'm fine waiting as our Ioniq's lease is not up until November, the car it's replacing. So actually the later it comes, the better!

The anti Tesla talking points are running out...they are too expensive. Quality is not good. Not enough range. No charging infrastructure. So now recalls is the new talking point

Woah woah woah, you didn’t get the performance model? I thought you were all in on the P! Regardless congrats and I think you were smart to pull the trigger, it was eating at you too long and figured when you got the itch it would be hard to wait.

Haha no Long Range is fine, it's got plenty of power (425 HP)! The Y Performance's suspension is a bit stiff, while the LR has much softer suspension. Eventually this Y is going to go to my wife anyway, then I may get a Model 3P. The longer range is important because of the amount of trips I make to SoCal

To get a better rate, I financed it through a local credit union here in the Bay Area. A bit iower than what Tesla is offering. Putting down a 25 percent down payment to counter the higher than normal interest rates (5.49 percent). I'm already approved, but I got an email from one of the credit union reps saying they are backed up...with Model 3 and Model Y loan requests LOL!

Will you get the $7500 tax credit on top of that?

I don't know if I meet the income threshold. I'm going to have to work with an accountant....
