Elon doesn't get to choose the leaders he deals with. Tesla has tremendous potential to improve quality of life in India via Starlink, clean power, power storage and clean transport. And to make a crap ton of money doing it.

Tesla is the most American brand by far. Pretty sure most people don't know this.

Tesla’s US inventory crashes in end-of-quarter push [Updated]
"Tesla’s new car inventory in the US has plummeted to a new low not seen since the beginning of the discounts as the automaker appears to successfully liquidate its inventory for the end of the quarter"
"Due to its direct-to-consumer model, Tesla manages inventory in a very different way than the rest of the industry"

This has to be the biggest dark horse going for any company right now.
I also just realized something, Tesla is mapping the entire United States road system using camera data. These are near real time 3D maps. Mind blown.
One of Tesla’s official Twitter accounts appears to have teased something substantial, at least when it comes to the company’s efforts to roll out its Dojo supercomputer. As per a graphic that was shared on Twitter, the start of Dojo production is expected to begin in July 2023.
Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, Tesla has launched several accounts for its different projects. These included a dedicated account for Tesla Energy, as well as Tesla Charging. More recently, EV enthusiasts observed that a dedicated account for Tesla AI had also been created.

Everyone will need it. Traffic rerouting. Law enforcement. It goes on and on.

I would highly doubt that. People with Tesla's from different states travel all over the US, and I'm sure Tesla also does it's own "mapping"

Millions of cameras operating in real time. Yup. Go big or go home. That Elon is wack. Google maps is a huge revenue stream. Just think what Tesla holds; couple this data capture with a Dojo chip...
Everyone will need it. Traffic rerouting. Law enforcement. It goes on and on.

And this is not just "street view" entire environments are reconstructed using camera data. This is like Google car mapping but 1000x better.

But that is today. Who knows where we are in, say 10 years? Being #1, with resources, has advantages. It doesn't even matter if someone builds a better EV when Tesla is holding all the cards.

This is the promise of "Data Science". From Wikipedia:
"Data science is an interdisciplinary academic field that uses statistics, scientific computing, scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract or extrapolate knowledge and insights from noisy, structured, and unstructured data."
I understand Google is paying Berkeley Data Science grads $300K right outta school. There's a reason for it.

That's the biggest can of worms in history. AI networks know what you're going to do before you do, and intervene.

Tesla is removing one of the last barriers to EV ownership
- Infrastructure is half the battle for EV adoption.
- Some would-be EV owners will make the leap when they have access to more Superchargers.
- More fast-charging stations are needed even after the Supercharger network opens up to non-Tesla owners.

Tesla software 10 years ago. Ford's currently system looks quite similar.
