Kia EV6

Here in lies the dilemma. They can’t make them fast enough. Because they are heavier, they need to be built stronger. Therefore more costly. Batteries materials are in high high demand so lower sales make economies of scale harder and longer in the development of these economies of scale. Now battery prices are rising. So BEVs increase in cost to build, thus making it much more expensive and out of reach for the average American. There is no used market yet. KIA EVs are where Lexus was in year 1 in the US market in 1990. Barley of the ground it’s like peanuts

And no one is telling you to do that. You are free to buy or not buy any car you want. Just like you have made a personal choice, so have others who see value in the EV6 and other Kia vehicles. That's literally why Car Chat exists.

And no more piano black. Finally telescoping steering wheel. Fingerprint scanner. Variable dampers. Added rear side airbag ( a rarity given even Lexus removed them for the new RX and NX). More sound insulation. Sightly bigger battery.
This could end up to be a quite a nice drive without paying the luxury tax.
