Walmart is good for one thing: cheap outdoor Christmas lights.

But yes I avoid it like the plague, too. YEARS ago, like 2004 someone stole the center caps from my Infiniti rims at Wal Mart.

I don't go to Target either because they're overpriced, but Targets are nice stores.

I very rarely ever darken the door of the local Walmart but I have to say that their bakery is nice.

to the topic, when I had an EV, I did notice someone parked in an ev charging spot at a Walmart in a beat up old Chrysler. I think they had the temerity to stick the ev charging handle on top of the rear tire.

Why are people mad at Electric cars? What a weird thing to waste energy on.

Same reason for those unaware. 99% of us humans roll around thinking out ourselves and our own comfort above all else, even logic.

I've seen people do the most illogical things (for others and themselves even) because the alternative was slightly less comfortable for them. The world is a big ME show.

The parking spots that bug me are the contact-free order pickup spots. There's like 12 of them right in front in a busy parking lot....2-3 of which are being used at any given time. Who's convince is it? The stores. Those waiting in their car don't give a damn where the spot is they're saving the 2 minute walk anyways by waiting in their car.

I broke the rules my whole life so as I "adulted" I tend to just follow the rules. "Honesty is the best policy" lol.

I swear we learned 90% of life's secrets in kindergarten we just disregard them because they are too simple.

Amazingly, my life is consumed with much less minor BS as a result.

Home Depot is more or less the only store I drive to and park in the lot. Everything else I either get at small local stores, or order online.

Agree, Golden Rule is really all people really need to know. And to be honest, as you mentioned.

You must not like saving money. Although not impossible, it's usually hard to beat Walmart prices.

I value my sanity far more than discount prices at that dump.
