Great article and short review. . Very much looking forward to driving one soon!😀😀

What I find very surprising though is the comment about the RS7 weighing almost the same as the EV?? How is that even possible??

Interesting question. According to C&D the E Tron GT weighs 5139lbs. and the S7 4597. 542lbs difference.

Thanks for validating that. The reviewer needs to check his facts. I knew right away it was not correct. The battery alone weighs about 1000 lbs in an EV of this size. There is no way a similar sized ICE car will weigh as much

Even my Model S which is bigger in both exterior and interior dimensions compared to the eTron GT weighs less than the Audi and it's Taycan cousin (just under 5000 lbs)

quite a bit of difference. Can go a long way for handling.

Am I the only person who sees a bit of Nissan Maxima from the side profile (from rear passenger door back to tail lights)?

I think the more important question is - do you like the car's design or not? 😄

From pictures and videos, yes (and I have loved this car ever since it was a concept). But I can't help but see some similarity to the new Maxima in the side angle..

I think that's all that really matters.

I'm sure if I looked really hard I'd find parts of the car that resemble other cars - it's a 4-door sedan after all. How many ways can you design such a common shape to look unlike anything else (millions of other 4-door cars) that exists already. 😄

it is pretty stylish in person. The front and could have some work done to make it look better. The cabin room looks pretty small though, far smaller than a compact car. Not a big fan of the frameless windows. Also the weight is at 5000 pounds or just under.

Yeah the front is my least favorite part, than angle you posted is the best angle.

it will be interesting to see how it does to be honest, there is a gas version that is similar to this car, Rs7. I think it is Faster, similar weight, no range issue. I guess we’ll see what consumers choose

My main take away, is the battery electric create a compromise because of the weight, so you have a much smaller cabin. I wonder how heavy an Audi a eight will be

A stock RS7 hits the quarter mile in the mid 11s range. The Audi Etron RS hits it in high 10s range so the Etron is the fastest car in Audi's stable. It also handles way better because ...it's really a Porsche Taycan in a different suit.
