I guess that explains why Mission Ford hasn't called me back yet to place the order!

If everyone in this country only had their giant trucks for intended purposes, about 70% fewer of these would be on the road today. That'd be nice, since all they do is either clog the roads or drive like morons.

Speaking of driving like an idiot... the gas mileage ratings for cars are a lot like what Ford says their electric truck will get as far as efficiency with payload. You can't trust them. Big difference between real world and on paper.

3 out of 4 big giant 4 door trucks are driven by teens or 20 somethings. They have to do a 0-60 at every stop light, especially when they have a chance at being first in line when two lanes merge to become one. They have to pass everyone in sight, even when I'm doing 60-62 in a 55. So that 25 or 26 rating they get on the highway drops to about 14 or 15. Same with the electric truck rating. No way you'll get 300 miles of range when hauling that much weight.

Truck drivers have no patience as it is. What makes you guys think they'll want to wait 40 minutes to charge?

I get the impression you don't like truck drivers

Yeah he seems pretty butthurt.

I wonder how we're clogging the road? We use just as much lane as cars. Does he try to squeeze past cars without changing lanes or something?

My reservation is with the Ford Store Morgan Hill. Supposedly no ADM. I've not had any calls from them yet.

The roads are huge in this country, that's for a reason.

I'll never buy anything but a truck (BOF SUV) ever again.

Mission Ford called me last week, I believe last Wednesday telling me I had to turn my preorder into an actual order, which I wasn't expecting until sometime next year. I just leased a Polestar, so I told the sales guy I would need a couple of days to think about it. He said he was going to send me an email with details and follow up with a call, none of which he has done yet.

It looks like to me that the earliest it would start getting into the hands of people is late 2022 or 2023, as when I put in my preorder they had already hit 150k preorders previous to mine

Got mine too. Will be interesting to see who gets to order. I also have a Bronco reservation, hopefully that helps...

Delving deeper into the email and going to the links, it looks like I will not be getting mine until 2023, but that's fine with me, I'm getting a PoleStar 2 in January and am happy holding on to my Sienna until then. BTW, I like truck people
