I would get arrested if I ever took my plaid on 5 lol....
Damn I just can't even imagine how fast that thing is. My Polestar which does 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds (after the performance upgrade) and it makes me dizzy when I put my foot to the floor 😂. You probably think you're having a stroke doing that in your Plaid! My brother in law's Model S in Ludicrous mode was bad enough...
I'm a customer to big pull off the line (I have a 700whp 9 sec zupra), so it doesn't hit as hard as I would of thought off the line.
However, it just keep pulling nonstop from 100-150+ like nothing I've ever felt...ever! It's the only car that has ever scared me (and I've driven a lot as well as 1000cc crotch rockets)....

My thoughts on Tesla have been evolving a bit. They are neat in many ways. Not for me as my main car, but I'd absolutely buy a Plaid if I were filthy rich, I mean 6-7 cars, estate mansion rich. I'd overlook the quality shortcomings and not really care and just have a blast with it, since I'd have other cars with the best build quality in the business in the garage as well.
If you were filthy rich the Lucid Air Sapphire would be worth a try too. Better interior with just as much speed. The early drives from the magazines were quite impressive.

For sure, but I think Lucid's days are numbered as a brand.

I'm probably in agreement with that. A friend who worked for Lucid told me they are in bad shape. The good news for them is that they make an amazing electric motor, they will probably end up providing motors for other companies, or just sell off that part of the business

Agreed. I think their tech will live on in some form.
It's not a 90/100 plaid, it's one of the lower level older ones. They just slapped a plaid badge on it and on a quick drive past it looked the same, it's a 70D sorry for screwing up the model name.
I don't really pay much attention to any other than the 90/100 or plaid since I'm faster than the rest.
