Well, to everybody who looks at it objectively. If Tesla stops calling it that and is more honest about what the feature actually can do, then we will see if there is a reduction in issues and we'll have our stat.
What stat? You posted nothing but opinion.
Like you, I am a fan of technology. What Tesla does with this ridiculous naming scheme is hold this technology back from further adoption. What will happen now is the NHTSA will further regulate these features, private and class action lawsuits will pop up as people see an opportunity to get rich and that will result in them being reduced in functionality in the name of safety and the further development of them delayed. And...thats Tesla's fault because this ridiculous Elon-ego naming scheme has caught their attention. He cares more about fulfilling his own fantasies than he does being a responsible member of the automotive industry. THAT is Tesla's biggest flaw.

Why must it be called "Full Self Driving"? Because it gives Elon a boner that he created a "self driving car", even when thats a lie. Thats the ONLY reason. He's a child, a brilliant child...but a child.
You've gone way off into the weeds here.

Wow, it literally is called Full Self Driving, LMAO. As I understand it, putting labels on a bottle of your average off the shelf consumer goods requires a thorough process where the label is scrutinized extensively. Knowing this, it bewilders me how Tesla were able to label it Full Self Driving. Might as well call cigarettes "Lung health regenerators". No this is not a conspiracy theory against Telsa lol.

It's funny to see how some will go to any lengths to defend Tesla. I just remind myself they probably have a lot of money invested in them so atleast they have a reason to...although imo unreasonable the lengths they go.

Ugh, no, a lot of things have misleading labels. For instance label "contains 100% pure orange juice not from concentrate" only implies that it contains some of such juice. Maybe it's just 1 drop per gallon of artificial beverage. Or label "pure honey" on a jar of corn syrup mixed with food coloring, where the "pure honey" is just a name they made up for the jars content, and not actual description.

Not at all. I believe in this technology. I think its excellent and makes cars safer when its used properly. The issue is with how its marketed to consumers by Tesla. This poor choice in naming sets the technology back. I use this technology in my car every day.

Just look around...you are the only person here who thinks "full self driving" shouldn't make anybody think the car can fully drive itself. Literally all we are using are the words that are in the name of the feature itself.

I know, its just ridiculous and what it does is make skeptics even more skeptical.

Taking the 5th is seen as an admission of guilt by the public.

You've made that abundantly clear I respect the opinion. But you can't demonstrate, prove or even give evidence to say the marketing does in fact make a Tesla on average more dangerous. All you can offer "common sense" that's not a data point.

To be clear if the name is found to be bad, then I 100% want it changed.

It wouldn't be if you'd expand your thinking. What if the naming gets someone to buy FSD and it makes the car safer? You've never considered that.

So you've basically admitted, in writing, to sexually abusing a robot, while also endangering him/her or whatever its pronouns are by not paying attention to the road.
