Over 8000 miles now, so did a mini inspection on tires, brakes and undercarriage. The Michelin Primacy are holding up well, from the looks of them, I'm probably going to get at least 30K out of them if not more

Brakes and rotors are still brand spanking new and from the current wear, are going to give me easily 100K

No squeaks, rattles, or issues so far. Fit and finish has remained excellent. Efficiency has been holding up, averaging 33.4 kWh per 100 miles. EPA ratings are 38 kWh per 100 miles, so I'm beating that estimate by a longshot!

Very impressive with the better than EPA numbers in real-world driving.

On another note, my coworker wants to have a friendly race with me against his Porsche, I think it's a Boxster. I keep telling him I don't want to embarrass him....

Thanks, it's the OTA updates that have continually improved efficiency. I was around 36 to 40 kWh per 100 miles when I first got the car, but as they continue to update the software the car continues to get better!

Looks like a 986.....he is screwed. Fastest ones were mid 5s to 60 and he would only have a chance on track. A 996 turbo would beat you stock and with ease with a stage one remap.

I wouldn't presume to try and take on a 996, I know when I'm out classed and out of my league

I mean if he misses a shift......you would take a 996 since you have extreme consistency on your side.

That's the beauty, and curse for some when it comes to EV'S. No launch control needed, just mash on the accelerator and consistent launches every time. For a track car I would still pick an ICE, Toyota 86, Miata, or something like the upcoming GR Corolla. For straight line fun and daily commuter, EV

Mash and go is really fun....I need to carbon clean it but here is a 3.7 sec mash and go from today. Took it up to 160 on the full clip but I had to trim it down to fit the forum file limit

Nice! I've never seen shifts like that. You must have a lot of torque down low. I couldn't open the clip on my phone and had to grab my laptop, you should share by either uploading to Youtube where you can share or store it in Google Photos and creating a link

Thanks! It's about 630ish at 1500 rpm if you spool, the EA824 is nearly instant response turbo wise and the ZF 8 speed is a beast on shifts. Nearly identical to a PDK, I'll work on setting up an account to share better. I honestly don't have any lol!

Yeah the A8 4.0, it's crazy fun but the understeering is getting old. I'm seriously considering something else or at least an S8 since they have a TVD out back that prevents as much of it. The 460 is much more playful but it lacks outright power....

The Taycan drives great but I don't have 200k lol!

Anyway, AMIRZA. You should really take the Porsche up on his offer and get a nice win, you should easily take him on a street start no problems

Nah, truth is ya'll just laugh, it's not a fast car that's for sure.

Stricker, are you running any mods on that Audi?
Amirza, if that porsche guy starts talking smack and you have to school him in the polestar, plz follow up and let us know.
