There are a lot of reports of seeing them being transported on trucks.

It actually looks like it would be perfectly at home on a planet circling a red giant

Just for the sake of science (this is NOT a know it all post), a red giant is when a star runs out of hydrogen and "dies" (the Sun), turns red and expands....a lot. It will engulf and destroy the Earth among other planets. But we're good for about another 5 billion years lol. The sun stays a red giant for another billion years, the process is obviously so slow.... but man isn't the Universe neat?

so radical those sharp corners on the back look lethal and i'm surprised the vehicle passes regulations.

it's basically an electric ridgeline on steroids made of stainless steel.

i think a load of those 1.6M deposits were FOMO and wanting to join the tesla/ev club with something different. oh it's different all right.

but even if 50% drop out, that's still 800K of those ugly behemoths on the road!

I wasn't a fan of the Model Y when it first came out 3 years ago, and now I own one . I'm guessing it will be the same once more Cyber Trucks start showing up on the road...although I'm absolutely, positively sure I will never buy one...

I'm sure there is some vast conspiracy here.

Good. The more gas powered vehicles replaced the better especially gas guzzling trucks.

The trucks you dislike ain't going anywhere, probably ever.

Ford's CEO even admitted the Lightning F-150 is basically a pointless disaster. Or, that's the mean way of saying "there aren't enough chargers and the battery life sucks."

Sales of the lightning are up 281 percent in July, that doesn't sound like a disaster to me. Jim Farley just went on a country wide road trip to see what needs to be fixed, which sounds like doubling down to me. The only thing that needs to be fixed is non Tesla charging infrastructure, and that's why Ford is adopting the Tesla NACS connector. From the many former F-150 owners I've heard from, it's the best driving truck they've ever experienced. Once the infrastructure issues are fixed, which they will be, I'm afraid the traditional pickup truck will become a thing of the past. Just my opinion
