Then why do you keep bringing up how rich he is? All of that is fine but you need to do that too.

If you had just accepted that I and others don’t think much of Elon Musk this wouldn’t even be being discussed now.
I have no idea. Those numbers came straight from C&D. Tesla is very good at engineering

So I have total control of what you post? Amazing.

Anyway, Cybertruck has the signature incredible sound system Tesla is known for. They've hidden it well there are about 15 speakers and 2 subwoofers. Another perk is the truck is essentially hail proof that is a huge issue in this part of the world. All it takes is 1 hail storm and your car is totaled. It's so common that most dealers now have giant shelters no car is left uncovered.

I don’t see how that’s possible unless the rear seats are lower than the front seats.

You have control over whether or not you argue with me about my opinion.

From what I've seen about 5'10" and you'll have good headroom in back after that it gets a bit tight.

They don't down here, I've never in my life heard of that.. Car dealers don't have back-up shelters to park millions of dollars worth of cars in, they're all insured... Anything worth anything is mostly always insured unless the owner is a fool.

Hail does suck, but it only comes around once every 30 years or so bad. About 13 years ago half of the cars in Knoxville were damaged or totaled, but that's the only huge hail that I can remember and I'm in my 40s. Is Canada known for hail?

In the plains what happens in Knoxville every 15 years happens multiple times a summer. Never heard that about Canada.

i agree. with no paint to repair and dramatically less maintenance, they can be more effective money spent than ice vehicles.

did a poll did you? and when cars were a new thing, some people missed horses and buggies.

maybe old hate-change types still want their obsolete crown vics, but younger officers won't even know what they were.

and who's pete?

The old bruiser cruiser Ford's are very expensive to keep in the fleet I don't know about this claim that they are still in service. You'd have to be a municipality with money to burn they get 15 mpg. Even worse, they idle constantly an EV is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better here. Idling gas engine gets 0 mpg EV range is barely affected.

Crown Vic’s are absolutely still in service. Fewer and fewer but they are still out there for sure.

You realize that cosmetically these stainless panels are much costlier to fix than paint right?

Laptop, siren, radio, lights, surveillance, mics, spotlights, and more.

Where is the power supposed to come from??? The sky?

I don't need to do a poll. Ever watch Live PD? EVs would be just stupid for police duty. We have laid out tons of reasons and it's obvious. I would suggest you watch an episode of that and ask yourself if an EV would be ideal, honestly.

Think about this. My house uses on average 600 kWh per month. That's 20 kWh per day, with 24 hours of appliances, AC, lights and EV charging. Do you actually think police accessories use even remotely that much energy? You don't think an 80 or 100 kWh battery pack can't handle police accessories, which probably use less than 2 kWh the whole day?
