Tesla beat BMW for 2021 luxury crown, Cox says

The whole "EV transition" is a bunch of hot air, BMW has just recently announced they will continue developing ICEs including V8s. BMW could ignore EVs for decades to come, and they would still be just fine. BMW should be fore more concerned about the future when it comes to their styling trends.

LOL, no it won't indeed. Back to the Blackberry analogy talked about earlier, I remember our CEO of the company I worked for at the time refused to give his up, although iPhones and Androids had become the norm. I had to keep a Blackberry Enterprise Server running just for him at cost of $5K annually. It was only after I brought it to his attention that we were spending $5K a year just to support his Blackberry that he finally reluctantly moved to a Samsung Galaxy...this was 2012. Ever since he is stuck to the Galaxy Note. Change comes hard to some...

Actually BMW's Neue Klasse platform in 2025 will be "electric first" but still support ICE as needed.

I don’t think it’s fair or correct to say “luxury crown”. That is incorrect. But, they are charging quite expensive prices for the products. I think it would be fair to know what their average selling transaction is. That way you can compare it to other luxury brands.
Tesla is priced around the same as other luxury lines line BMW, Audi
