That's true, it will fit 2 normal sized adults in the back, 3 is stretching it for sure. I was able to get 3 girls back there (my daughter, my wife and her niece) but they are smaller framed

Well at least Polestar hasn't increased their prices from last year
They also have delivery available in a few weeks

Model S would be my pick of the current EVs if the Porsche is off the table. Honestly none of them really excite me

i've been driving my Model 3 for almost 4 years, looking for a change next year. i will be getting another EV or a plug-in hybrid with budget max out at around $60k. I probably not going back to Tesla because of their price increase. not a fan of korean automakers, i know they're the hottest thing right now, but i'll stick with Japanese, American or German brands for now, what are my choices? so far i can only think of the following.
Ford Mustang Mach E
Toyota bZ4X
Rav 4 Prime
Ford F150 Lightening base model
BMW 330e
Audi Q4 etron

BMW 330e

The NEW XC60 T8 (PHEV) has increased HP to 455 and torque to 523.
Pure electric range increases to about 35 miles (up from 19)
The electric motor that powers the rear is up from 87 HP to 143.
It also now employs one pedal driving like the full electric vehicles.
Starts around 56k but fully loaded close to 73k.
Also, still qualifies for $7500 tax credit.
Almost forgot, it also gets the new google automotive found in Polestar.
I read if route is in the navigation, the battery use is apportioned over the entire trip which is nice.

It's really not that lifted. The big oversized tires give it that appearance. It's not low to the ground like a Model 3 or my IS350, but it's also not that high off the ground, in fact if I put the seat too high I would hit my head getting in and out, and I'm really not that tall
Way over the OPs budget of $60k so those are out of the question.

Exactly. If someone wants to lower it, a good set of lowering springs will do the trick. I personally would not mess with suspension setup though, I like the extra travel, it really helps on uneven pavement

Meh the mid section still looks too tall to me. The BMW i4 has the same issue to a lesser extent. It's just a natural consequence of having to deal with the batteries in the floor and is hidden much more successfully in SUVs.
