A whopping 122 units sold in the U.S. in 2022 since it went on sale in March. Basically vaporware. That number is about half of what a GV60 sells in one month, and the GV60 was only sold in 9 states last year.

At this rate I wonder how long it will actually take them to deliver the 500 $300K Celestiqs "per year" they promised lol.

Supposedly a few thousand have been built, something like 8000 or so, but there was been a stop sell and a shipment hold for some fixes to be applied.
Your post makes it sound like there were only 122 customers that wanted one, probably by design, the actual issue is something different - 8000 are waiting to be delivered and deliveries have reportedly restarted.

GM's management is, as usual, utterly incompetent.

Please, anyone who knows anything about EV's know that every OEM has to deal with supply constraints. Calling the car "vaporware" makes it more than obvious that Cadillac's problem is that they can barely build any. They can claim that they have 8,000 "waiting to be delivered"- that doesn't change the fact that it's been half a year since deliveries started and customers and dealerships are getting pissed off at the non-existent inventory.

Or maybe you failed to understand what I wrote. Quote anywhere I said a word about people not wanting the vehicle or it not being in demand. Please look up the definition of "vaporware" and try to spin that to mean "no demand."

GM is the expert at failing in the EV game. Eventually they will get it together, I think.

Supposedly the profit margins on the Hummer EV are razor-thin, but you might be right- it would not be surprising if the Lyriq is sold at a loss considering all the money GM put into its platform and the size of the battery relative to the cost. Makes Tesla and their fat profit margins all the more impressive.

I do know there's been several late stage fixes that needed to be applied.
