Heya, Folks! Audi invited me to drive the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron last week in Southern California which I wrote up over on ClubLexus' sister site, AudiWorld --
For those less familiar with the Q4 SUV siblings, they're the fourth and fifth full-EV Audi models (after the e-tron, e-tron Sportback, and e-tron GT -- yes, I know there's also an RS e-tron GT but I'm going off Audi's listing of the five models). Externally, it's about the same size as a Q5, a midsize SUV. But inside, it's closer to the larger Q7 in terms of passenger space. The base MSRP starts at around $50K for a rear-wheel-drive 201hp model (Q4 40), and then jumps up to $55K for the 295 hp all-wheel-drive version (Q4 50). The Sportback (also Q4 50), the one with the sloping rear roofline, is only available with the 295hp configuration and starts at around $58K. There are lots of standard features included, but the nicer stuff (naturally) comes with the optional trim levels and package upgrades. Range is as follows: 264 miles for the RWD Q4 40 e-tron, 242 miles for the Sportback, and 236 miles for the AWD Q4 50 e-tron.
