TLDR;
- Nine electrified models (in Canada) by 2025
- 100% electrified by 2030
- CX-90 and CX-70 PHEV coming in 2023
- CX-50 Hybrid coming 2024
- Four more hybrid models by 2025, and a brand new BEV SUV in 2025
- Two core crossovers (I'd guess CX-30 and CX-5) to get mild hybrid MHEV powertrains by 2025
- New dedicated EV platform in the works (SKYACTIV EV Scalable Architecture), to debut 2025-2030

I have been seeing Mazdas in a different light lately. Their new small crossover they build in Mississippi with Toyota sharing the plant is a really nice design

that said, I don’t get the point of this media release. It’s like a big virtue signal.

The CX-50 Hybrid is referring to the PHEV that's supposed to utilize the Rav4 Prime powertrain right? I assume it's coming in 2024 to align with the next-gen Rav4 which will probably bring an updated version of this system.

There will also be MX30 R-EV with rotary engine for battery charging but I guess it will not come to NA
