Default Tesla Model Y sells 252k in 2022! #6 in US

I knew they were getting popular, but didn't realize they were THAT popular! Almost as ubiquitous as the Camry now, and even outselling the venerable Accord! Crazy how the EV adoption has accelerated in the past few years from niche to now mainstream...

Pfa - my mylr in Tahoe last week ...

It's soon going to be the number #1 followed by the Model 3. Not bad for a company most predicted would die and fade away forever. Also not bad for company that began seriously selling in 2012

There is a new Model Y Performance across the street. I feel so inadequate with our Model 3 Mid Range...

Just get a box of granola, find a quiet spot somewhere, and you'll be right as rain

I’m getting sick of these EV threads. We get it. Just one every month is enough. Haha

Just a friendly suggestion...don't read them. I stay out of and don't comment on threads that I have no interest in. Again, just a suggestion

Tesla is taking over Germany.

https://cleantechnica.com/2023/01/08...t-in-december/

33% of all vehicle sales in Germany are BEV.

^ i'm amazed vw id. models selling in such high numbers. they seem quite unimpressive. but i guess german consumer loyalty to the 'domestic' brand is high.

I Worked for a German owned medical device company, and German car brand loyalty was extremely high among the German employees. We had a German Born engineer in our San Antonio office (now retired), bought nothing but VW, wouldn't touch a Japanese car to save his life
