New All-Electric, 2,040-HP Italian Hypercar Said to Hit 200 MPH in Less Than 10 Seconds
Using a novel setup with quad motors and a battery pack working with supercapacitors, the Fulminea even has decent driving range.

$2.1 million you forgot to mention that. 🤑
Hope it has autonomous driving because half the drivers are going to pass out.

Nice car Bitkahuna!
Like the color too.
I'm not guessing someone spends this kinda money on something like this unless they are going to race it.

Another vaporware car! Woot!!
We have seen some wild claims and six-figure prices by hypercar manufacturers, neither of which makes Automobili Estrema's Fulminea unique among them. It's how the automaker plans to make the Fulminea deliver a sub-10 second 200 mph run and 2,040 hp with its four-motor AWD system....

I thought that the problem became traction, not more ponies. But what do I know?

Just make them Bigger?
Add- duh, scratch that, I'm guessing they would have to.

VERY impressive battery tech and ultra-capacitor tech in this expensive thing!
I want to know is how well it does on various racetracks, the Nurburgring, etc. sustaining its fastest speed for very long laps without the battery performance degrading from heat buildup and heavy drain of the remaining charge. I'm assuming since this thing uses solid-state cells that may not be much issue as it is with conventional EVs with lithium-ion battery packs.
I am sure that someone paying $2.1M for one of these is probably not going to test the answer to that but they should.
Hopefully we see more performance EVs with this combination of technologies on board!
