Guys, here are a few updates, nothing major, but it seems that because of my new additions, the completion date is once again going to be pushed back...

Ummm.....so, I guess the project will be delayed again....due to this....one damn part = so many other parts to be purchased......

A little more information on the turbo setup. It is a used kit that I picked up, the turbos are the same as a Garrett GT3071 with a T2 exhaust housing. The particular kit is more then capable of over 700rwhp! I am aiming for 500rwhp.

I know I know, just about got all the parts I need, polished, powder coated, etc. The motor should be back together before the weekend and then it might just go back into the car.

And yes, I have spent a lot of money on this car, was going stock for a while with minor upgrades, but then it seems that nothing ever ends that way. Just yesterday, I spent almost $500 on hoses from Aeroquip. We decided to NOT use your normal stainless steel hoses, instead we are going with Starlite Racing Hoses. These hoses are half the weight (not that it matters) of stainless steel hoses and are made from Kevlar and Nomex.

Instead of going with the good ole stainless lines, with your blue and red AN fittings, we selected to not only use the Starlite hoses, but we are also using the nickle and black anodized AN fittings to make this engine bay stand out from the rest. You can get an idea what the Starlite lines look like from the picture below.

As you can see from the picture, the line's appearance are much like the stainless steel braided lines, but in black and has a streaks of red running through them.

Not only are the lines a better alternative compared to the stainless lines, but it also matches the whole color variation I am trying to stick with.

Here's an idea on what the fittings will look like.

Here's the very popular blue and red AN fittings -

Here's the nickle plated ones that we will be using -

Here's an idea of what the black fittings that will also be used looks like-
