Melbourne Lexus dealer ,your thoughts?
I am planning on using Lexus of Melbourne to change my T-belt water pump and tensioner on my 98 LS400 right before i drive back up to ATL for lexfest. Anyone use them and can vouch for them good or bad? I have no experience with them and would not mind some reinforcement in them. I spoke to an advisor "Clint" who seemed to be alright.
thanks
thanks

I will be down there the week before Lex fest .around the 20th.
Anyone of you guys go t a hook up to get cheaper rates out of them?
To get the Tbelt water pump and tensioner changed they wanted 770.20. +tax
360 for parts
450 for labour
Clint said "he would see what he could do".
Any of you guys going to Lex Fest at all?

I'm in Melbourne also - only had some warranty service done for some squeaky panels and my freebie oil change done but its been good so far.
Don't know if I'm going to stick with them to do regularly scheduled service or have a local shop which opened up by my work which is owned/operated by 2 ex-Lexus/Toyota Master Techs.

If you are in that area you could check out Grip Industries, they do a lot more with 1J/2J swaps but they may do maintenance stuff like that. Pretty laid back guys, if anything its worth swinging by and checking out some of their projects, there are usually atleast a few swapped cressidas and a GS or two around.
