New Florida Members Database! *Important*
Holiday greetings to the Florida crew!!!
Well, as most of you might or might not know, we haven't had a "MEGA" meet since this past summer of 06. Now, there has been numerous get togethers and nice sized events/shows which have been a great success.The key to any sized meet being a huge succes, is communication. Communication is the oil of this club/organization, without it we are blown, but we need YOUR help.
My goal with this thread is to compile a large database of the the FL members and keep it updated(or at least try to). A few years back we had one and it worked out VERY well. (as of right now, I can't find it) This will be a great tool of communication for the FL crew, it will allow us to contact you by either: phone, email, pm. Why you ask? So, when the next big event/show/get together comes around you'll be sure to know about it. Many FL members know nothing about the show/meets we have, due to them not checking the south section or w/e. I'm trying to get rid of that and get as many people involved as possible. 07 is gonna be a big year! "It's all about the members"
So with that being said, it's time to start up a new database, Like I said before there are alot of new members and some have sadly left. Thus It's time for an updated list. Please tell members that you know to post up. Spreading the word is crucial to making this a success. We'll put all the info into a excell sheet or w/e.
Please post of the following:
-Screenname
-First Name Last initial or full Last name
-Model, color.
-Primary Email(I/we will not spam) Phone one or both is fine.
-Area of FL you live in most of the time(ie: if you go to school in gv'ille, but permantely live in miami)

I'll post the info although I'm not up for meets where we just stand around for hours. I'drather attend meets where there is a co-attraction...something besides the cars. Giant cookouts, take over a bowling alley, pool/billiards, beach volleyball, a softball game...something.

Hey guys, I don't want to cause issue with what you're pulling together here (think its great!), but thought I should mention that putting semi-confidential info like email and phone may not be a good idea... perhaps gather that via pm.
I know for certain that this forum (and pretty much every internet website / forum) gets crawled by bots looking for email addresses that are used by spammers. if you do post your email I suggest you obscure it like name # emailaddydotcom instead of name@emailaddy.com
