Default Painting Headlight Housing?

Does anyone in FL know anything about taking apart the headlight assembly and painting the chrome part of the housing? I'm interested in having it done to my SC soon. I don't particularly trust myself to do it though as I would likely melt the plastic down to the point where it was no longer useable. If anyone in the area knows how to do it I'd be willing to pay to have it done for me. I've already got all of the necessary equipment to do it.

I'm located in Central FL. I think I found someone to do it for me for relatively cheap. He did it to his IS3 and it looks pretty nice. If anyone wants pics of if I can show you them. Yes, he used the "oven baking" method when he did it, and if he does mine he'll be using the same method. I'm considering staying and delining the area in front of my projectors while he does it.

I am also thinking about doing the same thing to my IS300 but Im going to do it myself, with some help, haha. If you havent seen it yet, they do have that great DIY thread in the IS forums about it! Looks very helpful if your willing to do it yourself.

This is easy, check the sc300/400 forum for more info on it. There is like 8 page thread about how to clean paint and deline the headlights. I have done it few times in my car and it looks great.

The person who was going to do it actually decided to back out so I may still be looking for someone to do it. I'm in the Central FL. area if anyone knows how to do it. I'm really considering painting my housing black, and delining it. I've considered doing it either in sections or completely. If anyone's around the area willing to do it let me know, or I'll let you guys know if I find anyone to do it.

Worse comes to worse I may have to do it myself which is scarey. I'll let you guys know my results if I find anyone who does it!

Default Blacked-out heads/fogs (IS3)

So, any takers? Any1? Who wants 2 make some $? Every1 claims it's SO EASY, but no1's stepping up. If some1 told me they were willing 2 pay me 2 do a job that I considered "easy", I'd run up N'a heartbeat @ the opportunity. Who wants 2 make a couple hundred $? Talk 2 me. Lets do this!

Damn too bad I'm going with a group to VA next time I pass through Virginia. If I were driving by myself I'd be there in a heartbeat. But I think when I do my housing I may see about shaving my lines down in front of my bulbs. That's not so easy. Or rather- that's a little more time consuming.
