Looking for 9006 HID Bulbs

What Kelvin were you using? The stock halogens are REALLY dim. Now if your bulbs are really blue you may be using 8000K or more. Might want to drop down to 6000K or ideally 4500K would be good. Of course, you might just have a bad kit.

He was using 6000k bulbs, but I believe it has more to do with the non-HID projectors that they were in. The output is not the same as an HID projector. I have the same kit in a few other cars (without projector) and they are very bright.

I run 6000k on my SC with stock non-HID projectors and they're very bright compared to stock output, but not as bright as say my gf's Civic with just reflective halogen housing. Of course, she has poor cutoff. The only other thing I can think of as a reason they're not bright is that the lenses may be yellowed and/or dirty. That could cause a hindrance in light output.
