By chance, anyone working for someone in the Ft Myers area that is hiring? I have a few jobs I can temporarily do, but anyone happen to know of any within their companies (in the Ft Myers area of course).

GuessD, I am from Fort Myers. I have been living here since 1992, the area is allright. There is stuff to do here, but this place can get boring pretty quick. Music scene is ok, there are a few clubs/bars that have local live music, depends on what you are into. Nightlife is allright. As far as shops there are a few here and there, but the majority of the big shops are going to be in either Miami or Tampa. Both are only 2 hours away. I go on mini road trips to miami/tampa all the time to get away from this place for a day or two. Job market is real tough right now because a lot of our jobs were tied to the construction/ real estate industry which has taken a huge dump in the past year. Anyway, I could ramble on for a while. Hit me up if you have any more questions

 

So it's been a week. I might have a line on a job. Anyone know anyone around here who can do decent body work/fender rolling?

 

isnt florida great? id say the best state to live in(minus the skeet-o's)! i cant wait to come back. congrats, youll love it (you might miss the snow?)

If you're looking for a good time, head over to Miami Beach or downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Best club/music scene period, not to mention awesome restaurants (really pricey $$$$) ... As for shops, you won't have problems finding them there's literally hundreds of them, the problem is finding a good one that does quality work ... Good luck man and have fun, You're pretty much living in a vacation spot now

Where do the cars down here meet up? I've seen lotsa rice and nice cars......I still haven't found a good site yet. I tried naplesracing.com but that site seemed broken.

I saw a beautiful Pearl 97-00 SC yesterday lowered on some machined silver (iForged?) wheels on Cleveland in Ft Myers here during rush hour. I also saw a kid (looked like he was 16) get into a 93-96 Silver MKIV... Are there car hang-outs in this city? :-(

 

i only know of tamparacing.com. i thought there was a site like ftmyersracing or something but not sure...
